Citizens of Sri Lanka may apply for a Dubai eVisa online. Sri Lankan citizens can obtain a Dubai Visa by filling out a simple online UAE Visa application form, uploading the required documents, and paying the visa fee online.
Sri Lankan citizens may visit Dubai for up to 90 days or less depending on the visa type. The passport must have more than six months validity to apply for a UAE Visa from Sri Lanka.
Submitting an UAE eVisa application for Sri Lankan citizens is a quick and simple online process. Applicants need to fill out a short form requesting their full name, contact details, address, and passport information (number, issue date, expiry date).
Sri Lankan travelers on a Dubai eVisa must enter the UAE using the same passport used for the visa application. Discrepancies between the traveler’s passport and the eVisa details may result in entry denial.

Sri Lankan citizens planning to visit the UAE for business or tourism for more than 90 days, or for study, work, medical treatment, visiting relatives, or immigration purposes, must apply for a traditional Dubai visa from Sri Lanka.
The traditional visa application requires submission at a UAE embassy or consulate and an in-person interview. This process takes longer than the online eVisa application for Sri Lankan citizens.
