The Oman eVisa is a convenient electronic travel authorization that allows travelers to apply for a visa online before visiting Oman. With the Oman visa application system, visitors can easily obtain permission to enter and explore the country.
Introduced to simplify the process, the eVisa Oman system has streamlined the application, enabling faster and easier visa processing for international travelers.
To apply for an Oman eVisa, eligible travelers must complete the online application form. Applicants will need to provide personal details such as their full name, date of birth, nationality, address, and passport number. It’s important that all information is accurate, and the passport should remain valid for at least six months from the intended arrival date in Oman.
The Oman eVisa is available as both a single-entry and multiple-entry visa, allowing travelers to stay in Oman for up to 30 days for tourism. After the visa expires, it becomes invalid, and a new application is necessary for re-entry.
After submitting the Oman visa application online, applicants will receive updates and the eVisa approval via email.
Applicants must be citizens of an eligible country to apply for the Oman eVisa. Additionally, residents of GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) can also apply for an eVisa. However, GCC nationals do not need a visa to enter Oman.
To complete the eVisa application, applicants must have a valid passport (with at least six months of validity) and a valid email address. Residents of GCC countries may also be required to provide a scanned copy of their residency permit.
Once the Oman visa application is approved, the eVisa is sent to the applicant via email. Travelers must present their Oman eVisa and passport to border officials upon arrival. It's advised to keep a printed copy of the eVisa with you at all times during your stay in Oman.
For GCC residents entering Oman, it may be required to show a valid GCC residency permit in addition to the eVisa.
Citizens from specific countries are eligible to apply for an eVisa to Oman. Additionally, residents of GCC countries (Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE) can apply for an eVisa regardless of their nationality.
Even if you're not a citizen of an eligible country, if you reside in a GCC country and hold a valid residency permit, you can apply for the Oman eVisa online. Your residency permit must remain valid for at least six months on the day of your arrival in Oman.
